Wollaton AR Hunt – an AR Experience

Wollaton AR Hunt is a location-based treasure-hunt prototype that turns Nottingham’s historic Wollaton Park into an interactive playground. I led the end-to-end concept: on-site ethnography and desk research, narrative design, UI in Figma, and a Flutter front-end that links to a Blippar AR layer. Visitors have 90 minutes to track four hidden “treasures”; when they’re within 50 metres, an AR camera and hints system guide them to a Blender-modelled chest anchored to real-world landmarks such as Wollaton Hall. A live leaderboard, social-proximity view and pizza-voucher reward loop drive exploration and peer interaction. At the same time, modular object-tracking and CMS hooks pave the way for future multi-site deployments.
